Resources for schools
Think Global specialises in supporting organisations to develop engaging, curriculum-relevant campaigning, fundraising and teaching resources and toolkits.
Many organisations look to raise awareness of their mission and work in schools – but many of the resources produced are not widely used by teachers because they do not meet teachers’ and students’ needs. Time-pressured teachers need easy-to-use resources which clearly fit into the curriculum and other statutory requirements. With a strong understanding of both educational and development issues, Think Global works with organisations to ensure their teaching materials make it easy for teachers and young people to connect with a cause.
Our resource-writing team members are all teachers, with experience of developing global learning resources for their own classrooms as well as for professional publishers.
What can we offer?
- Resource scoping: liaising with the client and key stakeholders to develop creative concepts, format options (from toolkits to schemes of work to websites) and resource outlines
- Resource authorship: developing full, curriculum-relevant, engaging resources. Read more about our school resources work.
- Project management: full resource development from scoping to publication, including liaising with graphic designers and copy-editors
- Dissemination via the Global Dimension website and our network of many thousands of engaged teachers in the UK.
